Completed in April 2023, it was constructed by Nishimatsu Construction, developed by Sumitomo Realty & Development, and managed by Sumitomo Realty & Development Building Services. It was born on land associated with the Sumitomo family, where Tennoji Park, Keitakuen, Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts, and Tennoji Zoo are located.
Keitakuen, known as a quintessentially Japanese-style garden, was landscaped over about 10 years together with the main residence (Chausuyama Residence) when the Sumitomo family moved from Kyoto to this area. The design and construction were handled by the renowned gardener of the time, Jihe Ogawa, also known as "Ueji." Since working on Murin-an for Yamagata Aritomo, he was active mainly in Kyoto and left a major mark on the history of modern Japanese landscaping. In 1925, when the Sumitomo family main residence was relocated to Kobe, the former main-residence site adjacent to Keitakuen (now the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts), together with Chausuyama Residence, was donated to Osaka City.
About 100 years later, this tower was built by Sumitomo Realty & Development on land associated with the Sumitomo family. As a property within a 5-minute walk of Osaka Metro Midosuji Line "Tennoji" Station, this is the first supply in a full 10 years.
