The Kitahama (The Kitahama) is a super-high-rise tower residence with 54 floors above ground and 1 basement level, totaling 465 units, located in 1-chome Koraibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City. Completed in March 2009. Built on the former site of the Osaka Mitsukoshi store, its height of 209 m was long known as Japan’s tallest condominium. To preserve its beauty as an Osaka landmark, the structural frame technology that Kajima Corporation is proud of was adopted.
It is a commercial complex tower directly connected to Kitahama Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line, with the 1F as the entrance hall, the 11F as the grand hall, and the 12th to 54th floors as residences. From the view elevator that escorts residents from the grand floor on the 11F to each unit, you can enjoy scenery sparkling in sunlight during the day and night views at night. The commercial zone, The Kitahama Plaza, consists of a shopping zone, clinic zone, and fitness club, and also houses Fresco Kitahama Plaza store, a supermarket. Nakanoshima Park is also within walking distance.
An all-electric housing system is adopted, and garbage collection areas are installed on each floor. Shared facilities include concierge service, Japanese-style room “Senbotei”, and AV room on the 11F; meeting room “Pearl White” on the 12F; guest room “Gold” and lounge “Suika Blue” with bar service on the 29F; and salon “Tiara” on the 48F. Tiara is a premium salon available only to residents on the 48th to 54th floors.
